YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Isabelle Leon
Isabelle Leon is a singer and music educator. At her time at California Lutheran University, she received her degree in Music Production, studying the recording process of pop music, as well as performing in classical choirs, and lead vocals in the jazz ensemble. She is also a member of Grammy U, the Recording Academy's program for emerging professionals in the music industry. Since she was 4, Isabelle has always connected to music deeply, believing in its infinite impact and power to touch the world.
While she has always put her heart into performing, Isabelle ended up unexpectedly falling into teaching! She has taught choral music theory, and well as middle school choir. Her favorite part about teaching is watching all the milestones occur in students, as well as providing them a comfortable space to feel free to expand their musical strength. So much of performing is fighting through your fears, and Isabelle strives every day to help us overcome it!
